Oh brother.

I. never. liked. any. of. the. editions. of. pinoy.big.brother.

Seriously, even though, thousands of people kept their eyes glued on this show and 3 different editions (The housemates, the teen and celebrity editions) have paved their way, it still didn't add to my taste. I admit that I like watching Pinoy shows, Pinoy teleseries and Pinoy sitcoms but this one's just non-sense. This is different because it will certainly be unrealistic because they are aware that there are cameras eveywhere and thus, they can easily fake their actions. I know teleseries are unrealistic too but the difference is at least these "teleseryes" are really meant to widen our imagination. While here, in this so-called "ang teleserye ng buhay", people can just wear a mask and pretend they are like someone else. It's a whole different story and I am just annoyed with the fact that some even fake their emotions too, no offense to them. Suddenly, love teams are formed out of nowhere. Lastly, would you like it if 24-hours of your life cameras will envade your personal life and in just a split second, your privacy no longer exists?

I'm just saying that, this is too unrealistic and anybody can fake their actions if they're really good. On the other hand, props to those who won, they really deserve it.

Since it's almost midnight and any moment from now, people will be making loud noises, I might as well add to your anticipation of the countdown.

You know what? The picture reminds me of how we, Filipinos, celebrate our New Year. Families from all walks of life gather together at twelve midnight, stand up outside our houses and watch the different breath-taking fireworks. Just the thought of it makes me jump in excitement! I imagine bright and colorful fireworks from that picture. The horns also makes it look like there's gonna be loud and jumpy music that won't make us stop from dancing till dawn. Compared to the other countries, I think we have a unique way of celebrating new year because we filipinos love to have fun and it is especially obvious in our fiestas or festivals. It's not that the other countries don't know how to have fun but we are different because we celebrate it with other people, we do not exclude anyone, everyone is included.

I love the blend of the colors, it is very warm yet gives a happy tone. The picture speak so much for itself. Now, are you ready for countdown to 2007?

I AM!

AT THE MIDST

.. of the Holiday Season, I know we are all busy with our parties, hanging with friends, staying up till dawn and all the things that goes with bumming. However, reality strikes back and breaks our heart as we get down with our priorites once again. I am here and I know you are ready for this.. media log is back people!

I had an awesome break and I know you guys had a blast too. As I was away from my country because we have decided to spend christmas here in the states, I realized that spending christmas away from your loved ones and your beloved country is close to a heartbreak. Although the weather and scenery here is breath-taking, I can say that nothing beats the Filipino way of celebrating Christmas. So since now that all I can say is Filipinos rock, might as well start with entries that are all about us, we FILIPINOS!

Maligayang Bagong Taon! :)
